Brazilian Keratin Reconstruction
Brazilian hair straightening treatments (which originated in Brazil) are a method of temporarily smoothing the hair by sealing a liquid keratin and a preservative solution into the hair with a flat iron or GHD. These treatments aim to smooth out unruly curls and waves and to reduce frizz.
The treatment takes anything between 3 to 5 hours depending on how curly the hair is. The hair remains straight for about three months, again depending on the nature of the curls and hair.
The Brazilian not only straightens the hair but also conditions and enhances the colour.
Ombre Hair Colour
The other great thing about Ombre is that if you get bored with the shade you can change it at any time without going through the process again.
The process – the hair is divided into sections. Tano takes one section, holds the end and using a comb teases the hair up towards the scalp. What is left is coloured and put into foils. When the foils come out the teased hair is combed back down thus blending the dark into the light.
Flamboyage Hair Colour
Strips of tape are cut to the length of the hair. A section of the hair is adhered to the tape and then pieces of hair are removed from it leaving a small amount of hair on the tape. This then gets coloured and the tape is closed.
This allows for a more natural and subtle appearance and again helps with those that have to re-colour their roots on a regular basis.
